- Errors when turning/turning/reversing
- Wrong behavior towards pedestrians
- Wrong behavior of pedestrians
Speed monitoring is carried out using laser, radar, ProViDa ("Proof Video Data System" - traffic violations are recorded in combination with a video system) or ESO measurement technology.
The traffic service also monitors the proper use of restraint systems such as seat belts and child seats.
In addition, specially trained officers check so-called special or heavy goods traffic (e.g. buses and trucks).
Traffic accident prevention and victim protection
The VUP/O service works closely with other partners, institutions and facilities in the prevention events.
In order to be able to work in a targeted manner, special offers have been developed for each age group, which are used at various events (internal or public).
There are also age-independent projects, such as the "Blind Spot" campaign, which aims to raise awareness among as many road users as possible about the problem of blind spots, especially with large trucks.
