Unknown persons break into office building

(jd) The managing director of a company located in the street Im Meisenfeld discovered a break-in yesterday (2.12.) at around 7.40 am. On Monday night, the unknown perpetrator(s) forced the main entrance door to gain access to the building. Once inside, they ransacked the cupboards in several offices and stole cash in the three-digit range. The property damage caused to the building is in the four-digit range. The Herford criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and is asking witnesses who observed anything unusual between 5 p.m. on Sunday and Monday morning to contact them on 05221/8880.
