The directorate is divided into the following organizational units:
- Directorate management with command center
- Command and Situation Service with the control center
- Hattingen police station
- Ennepetal police station
- Police station Wetter

Police control center - emergency call 110
If you call 110 in the Ennepe-Ruhr district, you will be connected to the police control center in the Schwelm district building.
From here, all emergency calls in the Ennepe-Ruhr district (except Witten) are forwarded to the relevant police station and all necessary measures are organized and coordinated to help you as quickly as possible. Specially trained police officers handle an average of over 35,000 calls per year, although the actual number of emergency calls is many times higher.

- What has happened?
- Where did it happen?
Please also wait for the police to ask you questions on the phone and don't just hang up. You may be able to provide further important information.
